Targeting Target, developing a campaign

Posted in Uncategorized by Alliance for Democracy Portland OR on August 22, 2010

Check out this video of a group in Seattle who responded to the news that Target had contributed big bucks to a Republic candidate running for governor.  <http://backbonecampaign.org/storydetail.cfm?id=274>

This group is the Backbone Campaign which has done excellent and fun work on issues of corporate domination.  Visit their website at http://backbonecampaign.org/ to see more and read some of the details. The Backbone Campaign has been a strong supporter of the Move To Amend campaign.

WE NEED TO DO THIS IS PORTLAND!
Interested in forming a group to challenge corporate domination and have fun doing it?
Send me an email and let me know.  When I get a few people responding we can get together and do some planning.
You don’t have to sing.  You don’t have to dance.  You don’t have to be creative.  No harm if you can do or be any of this, but you do need to want to act.  With enough people, we will get the people with the creative juices to do this or to hold signs over freeways, or…….

I am waiting for your email.
